JUMP FOR THE CAUSE 2002
Participant Fundraising Ideas!

This page contains fundraising ideas that you Jump For The Cause 2000 jumpers can share with each other. What works in one place might just work in another! Email your ideas to Kate at kate@jumpforthecause.com or Mallory at mallory@lewisandlamb.com, and they'll send them along to the webmaster. We'll include your email address, so other jumpers who are interested can contact you for more details or share tips!

[For starters, check out the Participant Fund Raising Page for basic information and incentives, as well as a link to a sample letter you can use to solicit funds.]

Our first idea comes from Linda Hardesty, who is already making her fund-raising plans for next year's JFTC. She going to get get shot glasses and have the Jump For The Cause logo put on them, then add wax to the glasses to make candle shots or Jello® for "Jello®" shots out of them. "Last time I sold Jello shots to get donations and it worked very well," she says, "so this time they buy one and get to keep the shot glass as well as getting the Jello or candle with it." When Linda sells these glasses, she'll subtract her costs, and use 100% of the rest of the proceeds to fund her way to the event. A quality TIFF file of the JFTC logo is available by email if you contact Kate or Mallory. You can contact Linda for questions or comments about this idea at linda@square1.com.

Team member Kelley Frederickson has come up with a great idea! She is announcing a "Coast-to-Coast Crawl for the Cause!" She is organizing what will HOPEFULLY be a multi-city Pub Crawl fundraiser. Possible dates are July 6, July 20, or August 3, 2002. There are more details in a Word document file on this site: http://www.jumpforthecause.com/docs/WebCrawlJFTCnews.doc. If you are interested in arranging in your city, please let Kelley know (Kelleyadai@aol.com) the best date for you. We are trying to get as many cities together as possible on a single date.

There are also some Drop Zone fundraising ideas on another page on this site- Check it out here.
